Title: Dick: A Bad Boys Novel
Author: R.C. Stephens
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 25, 2016
My name is Dixon Crawford—my friends call me Dick. I’m rich, divorced and I have two small kids. When it comes to women, I like to play the field. I don’t want to ever be tied down again. I met Eden at a Presidential gala and, yes, I was intrigued. When school started in September I was shocked to learn Eden was my son’s kindergarten teacher… I’d slept around with the lonely rich mothers at the school and had earned a reputation. A reputation Eden knew about… Eden was on the untouchable list—the band on her finger screamed, “I'm taken.” But when she got into trouble with her husband she asked me for help and I obliged. I soon discovered that innocent Eden had secrets of her own. I also discovered she was beyond tempting. Giving her a little friendly help turns into something bigger than I ever imagined…. My name is Dick. I'm told I'm an asshole, but you will need to read my story and decide for yourself!

This is one of those books that takes you by surprise. While some elements I am not a really huge fan of, what RC Stephens did with them made it flow perfectly and fit very well. Dick is what you think is your typical sexually charged alpha male who is a love em and leave em kinda guy. What I loved what Stephens did with Dick is how she unraveled the layers of him. Piece by piece you get to see different aspects of Dick and actually makes you fall head over heels in love with him. My heart broke for Eden. She had been through so much and finally finds someone she feels that spark with and no matter how much she fights it.. she cannot resist. But she wants whats best for her son. I really commend Stephens for writing a really strong woman like Eden as she is placed in such a hard position and Eden is full of spark. She fights for what she wants and no matter how much she gets beaten down, she comes out on top.
Overall this book is full of a lot of ups and downs with forbidden attractions but it really does keep you on your toes and wanting more. The side characters add so much to it as well as the banter between Dick and Eden. Their chemistry is undeniable no matter the circumstances. The ending is what sealed it for me. Was a beautiful conclusion to this book!
