Craving by Helen Hardt

Book: Craving (Steel Brothers Saga #1)
Author: Helen Hardt
Genre: Contemporary Romance

After being left at the altar, Jade Roberts seeks solace at her best friend's ranch on the Colorado western slope. Her humiliation still ripe, she doesn't expect to be attracted to her friend's reticent brother, but when the gorgeous cowboy kisses her, all bets are off.
Talon Steel is broken. Having never fully healed from a horrific childhood trauma, he simply exists, taking from women what is offered and giving nothing in return...until Jade Roberts catapults into his life. She is beautiful, sweet, and giving, and his desire for her becomes a craving he fears he'll never be able to satisfy.
Passion sizzles between the two lovers...but long-buried secrets haunt them both and may eventually tear them apart.

Oh my goodness this book was so so good! I read in one sitting. I absolutely could not put it down!
After being left at the alter by the man she has spent years planning a future with, Jade Roberts moves in with her best friend Marj at Marj's family's ranch. She is there to wait for healing and her Bar exam results.
Talon Steel is the on brother that Jade hasn't met, so she is suprised to find the very sexy man waiting to pick her up at the airport. There is an instant attraction and chemisty between these two immediately.
Talon has suffered tremendously as a child yet everyone is very quite about it. Talon is just trying to get through lift the only way he knows how, one day at a time, and shut off all emotion. and never ever let anyone in.
Will these two stop fighting what is between them, move past the hurt and anger of the past, and find solace in eachother? I cannot wait for the next book to find out!
This was my first read by Helen but it will not be my last. I really hope she writes fast, as I am chomping at the bit for more!!!!!
