Release Blitz: Drawn to You by Lily Summers

Title: Drawn to You
Author: Lily Summers
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 12, 2016

Blurb

After an earth-shattering tragedy, I left everything behind. School, family, friends -- what does any of it matter now?

No one knows my story. No one knows what happened. I'm barely holding on.

Then Ezra finds me. A tagger with a raw talent, he fills the city with his art, splashing color across Portland's grey skies. A ghostly woman in the depths of the ocean, a boy preyed upon by shadows -- everything he creates touches my soul. Authentic and raw, his work grounds me. Magnetic and brave, he heals me.

Ezra is everything I need; he's everything I don't deserve.

But Ezra won't let me fade away.

Drawn To You is a heart-wrenching debut about love, art, and a passion that brings color to the darkness. It's about the lengths we go to remember and the love we can never forget.

For a debut author, I have to say that this book took a little bit for me to get into it, however once it picked up its tempo, I could not put it down. It had me emotionally gripped for both characters. The heartbreak that both Mia and Ezra had endured to get to where they are is unspeakable. But they find this bond between the two of them the moment they lay eyes on each other, and day by day, Ezra helps Mia grow.
There are moments I want to smack both Mia and Ezra for being so stubborn and pigheaded. But they bring out the best in each other and they find their path in life together. Though bumpy and lots of unexpected screw ups, these two were honestly made for each other and you can feel it while reading this book.
Overall, for a first book, I felt it was a great start and this author has amazing potential. The flow, all bet a little slow to start, finished with a bang. If this is the start of Summers writing career, watch out readers, she will be one to watch for!
