Signed paperback of Everything Stolen

Everything Stolen by Sophia Scarlet is one of those books whose premise alone drug me in, captivating me, urging me onto to read this entire story full of suspense, mystery, love and angst as these characters struggle to come together after losing four precious years.

This book just took me on an emotional rollercoaster. My heart was pulled, pushed and tugged so many directions. I needed answers. I needed justice and I needed to understand this heart pumping suspense.  Could the best of intentions be honored?  Could forgiving over power my own sense of morality?  Scarlet makes you question everything when reading this book, pulling your mind, heart, and soul to the forefront of this story as you watch Sylvie, Jeremy and their son navigate their way through their emotional mess of a family.

One thing I will say I wasn’t a huge fan of was the sex scenes.  While I see their point, I was much more enthralled with the actual storyline to care about the over agressive sex scenes.  I just wanted answers. So I found myself skipping over them to get to the root of the story.  With that being said, if you love a good dirty sex scene, then Scarlet doesn’t disappoint.  It just was more than I wanted, to each their own!

With all that being said, if you are looking for a book that engages your mind then definitely one click Sylvie and Jeremy’s story.  I promise you won’t be able to put this one down until the very end.
