At 10 she moves in a with foster parents thinking that is what she will be getting, a family. While the foster parents are not the family she dreamed of she does get her first taste of family with her foster brother Conner. Then her freshman year of highschool she meets Jake, the man who gives her what she has always dreamed of.
Jake is perfect and gives her the love she needs. Jake is absolutely amazing and sweet and oh so swoony, I fell for him immediately.
One night is all it takes to rip that perfect life away from her. Jump ahead 3 years.
Sidney is just trying to get through one day at a time. She has given up on her dream of love and a family. In order to get a fresh start she and her BFF move to Wyoming to live out their dream of owning their own veterinary practice. When she meets Able, he is everything Jake wasn't, and,despite how her body feels when he is around, Sidney is sure he will not be the one to help her get past her pain.
This book is an absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful story about finding the love that you need at the exact time you need it. So do I recommend this book? HECK YES! just know that you will have a severe book hangover!
